President

2023-2025

Greetings. As president of the Broward County Business & Professional Women’s Network, I am honored to be elected to lead this dynamic group of women. Our organization is here to promote and protect the interests of business and professional women, serve as bridges for young people seeking to enter business and the professions, improve the quality of life in our local and global communities, and foster good fellowship.

Broward County Business & Professional Women’s Network is a local organization and a part of NANBPWC, Inc.  At the local level, our regular meetings are held the second Monday of each month. We have adopted the theme “Moving Forward with a Purpose, building success through dedication and excellence while embracing our youth”. Women in our organization and our communities have great needs in this time of economic transition and social upheaval. We seek to meet community needs with a commitment to our mission.  This year is packed with activities, educational programming, and networking opportunities. Take a moment to visit the various pages of this site.

As president, I can say that we are collectively committed to the work and to giving back to our communities, I invite you to join our efforts.

Broward County, Florida -  The Broward County Business and Professional Women's Network has re-established The Broward County Business and Professional Youth Club. The Youth club received its new charter on April 19, 2023.

Just in time to participate in the NANBPWC's 54th Annual Southeast District Conference held in Charlotte, 3 of the new Broward County Club Youth Club members were able to participate in the district's essay and oratorical contests as well as the graduating high-school senior's rite-of-passage program and the first youth Shark Tank (business pitch) contest.

The Broward County Youth Club is challenged, from our National directives, to change the C.L.I.M.A.T.E. in our communities. The acronym ensures our youth implement programs addressing I. Community Service, II. Leadership, III. Involvement, IV.Mentorship, V. Activism, VI. Technology, and VII.Education. We also encourage special programs to include Mental Health Awareness, S.T.E.A.M Initiatives.

Now as we are "Moving Forward with a Purpose' we are preparing for our Networks 18th Founders Day and Scholarship Awards as well as travel for the youth to participate in the NANBPWC, Inc's 84th National Convention in Aurora/Denver, Colorado.

As our mission states, we will continue to serve as bridges for young people seeking to enter business and professional careers.
